Just wanted to say thanks—everything installed perfectly, nothing broke, and surprisingly, the icon wasn't touched. Just a big thank you for a great update; everything is wonderful.
This time, I updated the security patches first and only then moved on to updating the entire system; for now, I'm sticking with driver version 580.

It really helps, when you translate your post into English before you upload them. Thank you very much that you take the effort. It is no problem to use AI for that purpose.
The integrated translator tool of the forum namely only translates into English, I think, and then it is difficult to understand. And long posts are not translated at the end.
Your russian post was translated on my smartphone by the automatic google chrome translator of the browser in essence
"A year ago, when I was growing up, I didn't think I'd want to achieve something so soon." Perhaps it has problems when varios languages are on one site...The English variant was understandable and grasped the meaning of what was written.

I prefer DeepL Translate over Google any day.

In my experience... Yandex usually was the most accurate. This is not a comment on anything other than translating.
And using an online translator is fine to do (and helpful) without a requirement to disclose that you did.

It's a great idea to use a translator. I often use one too to clean up my repeated mistakes in Spanish

Back to the topic. I fired up this laptop for the first time in months. I use my older HP, connected via HDMI to a large screen TV, as my entertainment system and it is still running Zorin 17.3, without a hitch. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the Software Updater ready to install (22nd July) but the patches had already been released and the upgrade to the new kernel is fine. No issues to report.

I always use Deepl to translate my posts here into English, because it is a very good translator, but I don't know a way to use Deepl (the free version) to translate websites automatically in the browser. Do you know if that is possible?

No. Donct think you can. I registered for free and think maximum translation is 500 words with a login.

Whilst not Deepl, I know some web browsers offer web page translation, Firefox certainly does. See: Translate a webpage with Firefox — Firefox.com
