Nvidia Drivers "Out of Range Error"

I was using nvidia 550 drivers and it was working, I can play games in good fps, using rtx 4060. But when I try to install nvidia 570 drivers. I got "out of range error" then I boot it with live usb and removed the drivers, then reinstalled the 550 drivers. I can play my games again but after 2 months I tried again, cause I thought it was about zorin os and update could solve it. But it didn't. I reinstalled nvidia 550 again but now I can't play games. It says no gpu detected

You can take a look at this thread. At posts 9 and 10 there is a solution described for nvidia 570 drivers on nvidia rtx 4060:

Also this works correctly my monitor gives a black screen when I change the refresh rate

Yes, this guide is even better. It explains better how to add the kernel parameter and uses the more common "sudo update-grub" command at the end.
I read that also switching from HDMI to displayport cable could help in such a case if your monitor and graphics card support this.

It would be nice if You could mark the Post what is the Solution for You. It could help others, too.

Marked second post as solution as it is the first in-thread solution.
