PrismLauncher instantly crashes for some reason

I want to use PrismLauncher but for some reason it gives a Segmentation fault when I try to run it. I've tried the Flathub version as well as the AppImage and the tar.gz all show the window on the first run and then crash instantly after that even after reboot they dont open a window at all. the AppImage had the window open for the longest the time about a second longer than the rest. I tried running it using the terminal to see the error it seems to be a Segmentation fault and the AppImage outputs this at the end:

Segmentation fault

if it helps i can also copy paste the flatpak error in here but its almost the same error, can anyone help me with this? :slight_smile:

If that shouldn't work, I saw on their Website that there is the Option to add a Repository to get the .deb file:

You have to scroll a bit until You reach this:

To say that: It is not directly an official Repository. It is from a Part of the Community.

You can try to find something here

because the problem come from PrismLauncher and not Zorin.

708 opened issues, I would think this is not the best software to use ! :wink:

Thank you very much :smiley: the first thing you suggested worked for me, i had to reinstall the launcher because of another issue but it works now for me on flatpak, purely out of interest what did those commands do?

PrismLauncher is one of the best alternatives among the Minecraft Modding Launchers, so its not like i have much of a choice as a regular user. Thanks either way for trying to help :slight_smile:
