Resolved: Zorin installed but won't autoboot

I have an older HP Elitebook folio 9480m I just installed Zorin successfully but when it reboots the HP boot screen comes up then it says reset system and then the boot screen comes on again, rinse and repeat, if I hit esc at the hp boot screen I can go to boot menu and Zorin is listed and when selected it boots fine.

Also when I reboot from Zorin Desktop the HP Zorin boot splash pops up then I get a blank screen and it doesn't reboot.

this is a fresh install, erased and used entire drive, BIOS is set to UEFI native and secure boot is enabled. and fast boot is disabled.

I figured it out, I had to create a custom boot option and entered
EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efi This fixed power on boot issue. reboot also works now, although it's a bit slow.
