Screen glitching out issues

i have a Toshiba dynabook satellite b552/f and i have windows tiny11 installed on it. One day, i have an idea to install zorin os permanently and i used usb stick as bootable usb, i tried so many times but it keeps making screen glitching

and also, if i already in it and i shutdown, i cant boot it again from usb and i had to reinstall everytime i boot it.

Once installed, please launch terminal and run

sudo lshw -C video

and relay that output here.
For a Toshiba Dynabook, I would expect Intel Sandy or Ivy graphics. You may have a dedicated Nvidia card - that is what we need to know.

You may need to use the kernel parameter i915.enable_psr=0

Welcome to the Forum!

Are Secure Boot, Fast Boot and TPM in BIOS turned off?
And is Fast-Start-Up in Windows turned off?

Thanks for replying! i have a Intel HD 3000 Graphics.

and also, i cant boot it up to zorin os because it always stuck at there.

I already turn off those including hibernation, fast staturp and anything windows holds back.

Intel dropped support for Sandy quite a while ago. I think around kernel 4.5 or so.
While you would be using the i915 driver, the modern i915 with its higher graphics stack and library would struggle, if work at all. The old Intel SNA/XNA acceleration drivers are regressed entirely.
Wayland, which Zorin OS 17 now defaults to... Will not work at all.

I Do Not recommend downgrading Mesa in hopes of it working...
Have you tried modesetting?

In my link above, you can see how to set the nomodeset parameter.

I'll try it after my external keyboard arrived. Thanks!

Also, you would be better off on Zorin OS Lite;

Even if nomodeset allows boot and we can then modify a file to force use of the old i915 driver... I suspect Zorin OS 17 Core would be sluggish and slow...

yeah uh, i already installed linux mint and i want to move to zorin, any idea how?
