Secondary Screen auto-rotates when disconnecting Primary

Hi, despite having the orientation set, my secondary screen flips when I switch the input of my main monitor to another source. How can I force my secondary screen to stay in the orientation that is set?

If the above does not help, you can also remove the malfunctioning component with:

sudo apt remove iio-sensor-proxy

i think this somehow worked, but only after rebooting more than once

I have experienced this too... as if the OS needs to really get it out of its system.
Computers are weird...
