Share your desktop, what does it look like?

It's Plank.
Two things 1) You can drag images into the dock, that's how I made the separators. 2) A Gnome extension called Dock to Plank which allows you to show applications overview with a button in Plank.

What you think of this? I'm not sure myself. It's very simple.

Made a Solus OS wallpaper to match the color scheme and icons.
Looks better that way, I think.

I like the Picture; it is cool! The only Thing what I find a bit ... weird with this Picture is the Icon Color. I mean this Lavender kind of Color in the Icons.

With Your other (cool) Picture it works obviously better because it is in the Picture.

Hmm... I'll change it to dirty white instead then.

Yeah, sounds like a good Idea for me. But on the second Picture I think You should let it be like it is. There it fits good I would say.

I do like it better in white, personally. Lovely desktop overall, I'm glad you could make something useful out of KDE

After a few years with Gnome, I'm trying out XFCE on my main machine. Still Debian 12 – I think it suits me nicely – but I've added i3 as the window manager. It's a bit weird to get used to but I'm hoping things will improve overtime.

I'm not sure where I found this wallpaper though (maybe it was here, I can't remember) but here it is:

Still need to do something to the icons and all but that will come after; I don't want to spend a lot of time on that only to find out I don't like tiling window managers :man_facepalming:

Nice Picture. The Girl could be Ellie from The Last Of Us Game.

Yeah, combine these Icons with the first Picture:

That would look awesome! The Lavender combination from Icons + Picture fits in this Color Sheme good:

But the Color is maybe a bit special. But that doesn't mean that it is something bad. But to make it look good, You need both of them. You know, what You could try? Take the Graphite Dark Theme and change the white-ish Accent Color to this Lavender Tone and use it as Theme. And then the Icons and the Wallpaper. That could be a good Set I would think.

And the white Version:

This is a nice Alternative to the Lavender Version. Two additions to that:

  1. You could make a Version with the Zorin Writing instead of the Solus OS one.
  2. The Stripes. I like the different Lenght's. You have there one red and two black Stripes. Maybe You could make on black Stripe grey-ish. Only an Idea.

The common Style of that is really nice. It is a straight minimalistic clean Look.
