Software Updater Repository problem

When I use 'Software Updater' it says "Failed to Download repository Information". "Check Your Internet Connection". (I'm online).
I tried:
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

When I tried going to Software Updater > Settings, I changed 'Software & Updates' > 1st tab, 'Zorin Software' > 'Download From' > Custom > 'Choose Best Server'.

I hoped this would fix the "Failed to Download repository Information" error, but when I hit 'Reload', I get the uploaded picture error. I don't know what that means.

If anyone has any ideas how to get out of this loop, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Meanwhile, I'm pleased with Zorin OS 16 Core. I'm just getting past the initial hiccups.

Hi, can you open Software and Update and see where your update server is set?

While you have Software & Updates open, it looks like a repository you have added is a dead link.
When you run

sudo apt update

Do you see any 404 errors? Note with repo is giving that error, then in Software & Updates > Other > click on that repository, then click the Remove button on the bottom toolbar.

Thanks.

My update server was set to the one from
Custom > 'Best Available'. I switched it back to 'Main Server'.

'sudo apt update' threw these errors:

E: Release file for http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/focal-security/InRelease is not valid yet (invalid for another 2h 50min 3s). Updates for this repository will not be applied.
E: Release file for http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/focal-updates/InRelease is not valid yet (invalid for another 2h 50min 28s). Updates for this repository will not be applied.
E: Release file for http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/focal-updates/InRelease is not valid yet (invalid for another 2h 50min 27s). Updates for this repository will not be applied.
E: Release file for http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/focal-backports/InRelease is not valid yet (invalid for another 2h 51min 4s). Updates for this repository will not be applied.

No 404 errors, per se.

It's a long shot, but if it's relevant, I installed this Zorin OS 16 Core without internet access.

When I hit the "Reload' button after switching back to 'Main Server', I get the error in this picture:
What's this "Not valid for another three hours" business about?? ¿¿

You just hit the nail on the head.

That was the clue needed- your timezone is off.
Try resetting it

sudo hwclock --hctosys

Then run sudo apt update and see if anything changes.
