While trying to install wine I keep getting this error.
There should be an app in your start menu called 'Install Windows App Support' as stated here:
I get same error as wine
Have you tried following the instructions here:
Maybe try
sudo apt purge wine
then following the steps again.
Same error but wine isnt installed. Im trying to get it installed
I was just trying to remember... It says in the software store that Zorin's version has unmet dependencies, but it didn't say WHAT dependencies though.
Maybe try
sudo apt install zorin-windows-app-support
to see what dependencies are affected.
I guess try the solutions in this thread:
Make sure you follow the solutions down to the bottom of that thread.
You may have forgotten to run
sudo -i
then
nautilus
first.
Do I need to remove only winehq focal
Try
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
Getting error:
E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend - open (13: Permission denied)
E: Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), are you root?
OK, well, I've gotten stuck at this point.
Maybe someone like @Aravisian can help. I've also tagged @AZorin and @zorink.
