I have Zorin 16 installed on a ThinkBook 14s Yoga ITL, and I would like to know if the fingerprint reader device is supported in Linux by now. I believe this here could be the driver in question? Could someone who has more experience with these things just tell me if I should trying, because after running "fprintd-enroll" I got an error message saying something like "No devices available".
Should I bother someone with an e-mail requesting linux support for those Goodix drivers? Or is that just pointless, and older devices will never get any attention?
