I found out why the href code was not showing - third party advertising cookies so looks like I will not be using the local Business Registry to promote my business! Oh well!

I am trying out Vivaldi for quite some time now and tbh its really good. The tab grouping with the advanced page tiling is so good.
What is it about Brave that you like in particular?
I use Thorium. It's a custom build of Chromium and is unbelievably fast. I mainly switched to using Thorium because it seems to be the only browser that supports H.265 video on Linux.
at that point you could connect via ipv6 and terminal. just kinding
i get your thought behind it and wonder if theres just a browser that does multi profiling because we all know what doodoo big tech saves in our cookies. but once you delete them all your saved data is gone.
im not a fan of the general browser design. it should be more like a desktop and not having 20 tabs just to save your links (i usually use bookmarks like its intended but man my friends browsers are cluttered with tabs). search engines are rotting so bad i went back to using Gelbeseiten(yellowpages) and the Handelsregister(register where you find all companies) to find stuff otherwise youll just get pages where you gotta sell your data to 1001 persons that profile you. thank god in europe we have sammelklagen(mass lawsuits) that finally take act aganist big tech.
I am curious about your opinions about Yep! and Seek.ninja i wouldnt say those are good but the results are different.
and then if you are that much precautious about privacy then DONT USE CHROME unless you want to troll them.
@[WickedMoose] honestly why supporting them if they support googles/Alphabeths doodoo.
And youtube will nag you eventually to turn it off.
It doesn't seem to notice Brave. With all the useless rubbish in Brave (Wallet, Leo, NFt bs) turned off it's nice and fast.
I never see any ads at all. I use Brave and sometimes Firefox (to my shame). I use various addons, and yes, I mix them, but I don't see the ads! I also use Surfshark VPN, which does cause problems with YouTube occasionally, but switching servers fixes that. Just now:
There is zero shame in it...
I have very few add ons. But I was not away any addons can block embedded youtube ads...
Since I added uBlock Original Lite I have no adds on Youtube but I also run Adblock Plus my ol' favorite ....
Humm, my choices, pushed and pressured by reliability and necessity.
The only ads I see are: "segue to our sponsor...", no embedded ads whatsoever. For me, those are fair enough, YT doesn't cream off the fat and swallow the profit. I've been watching videos for 3 hours without a single advert. I also subscribe to Floatplane, and support creators for their scripts and tools.
I use the same methods with Linux and Windows, in every browser too, with the same results. Sometimes, I have to uninstall and reinstall addons, or re-sync across operating systems and devices, but only every couple of months, or so.
Last week and the week before I got messages in YT stating: "You cannot view this video in your browser. Click to find out more", or words to that effect. So, I switched to Firefox, as it was to do with Brave blocking Java script, changed Surfshark location (there was another message about using a VPN), and continued viewing. I reconfigured Brave the following day and haven't had any more issues. Surfshark has its "CleanWeb" app, and updates regularly to combat geo-blocking.
I use Vivaldi on all my devices. Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. I use Vivaldi both privately and professionally.
I don't use them and wasn't even aware of these websites.
I have NEVER used Chrome, I do use Chromium and very occasionally UnGoogled Chromium
Many Firefox browser forks have the ability to have multiple profiles.
i was refering to the guy with the large list of browsers. zorin said: thee shalt link mulipleh persons in one comment rather then making various comments. seems i failed by doing so.
which good browser has multi profiling? i lived under a rock before installing linux.
One of the first things I did when I downloaded Zorin was to get rid of Brave and download Firefox. Not that I dislike Brave; it's just that all my bookmarks and settings are just the way I like it on Firefox on all my devices. I used to use Chrome but I'm slowly trying to de-Googlefy my life.
