Which one should I use? GitHub Desktop Or GitKraken

I need y'all helps... which one should I use/install? Because on GitHub Desktop I see bunch of permissions that want to access all my computer data, which had me suspicious because I feels like there's gonna be a virus in it.

Are you seeing Reds under the beds?

I mean... what do you think we developers are up to over here?

So... your file manager must access all of your computer data.

And your text editor can be called a keylogger. Because it logs each keystroke into the text file you are typing up.

There is a difference between being secure and chasing ghosts.

You can choose whichever package you believe best suits your needs for cloning, managing branches and pushing changes.

You could simply go to github, create an Account and use that?

And for these two Things: Search in Your favorite Search Engine for it and Experiences. And You can scan the downloaded Files from the Developers Websites with VirusTotal. That doesn't give 100% Security but it can take a Look at it.

I did, how can I update my repository on the github website?? I don't know how to.

You could take a Look in the Doc:
