computer : MacBook Pro 4.1 2008 built in AirPort Extreme
issue : connect to wifi 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz but DO NOT navigate
Driver: proprietary Broadcom BCM4321 801.11a/b/g/n (AirPort Extreme) and does not show another drive. set to world server.
Conecting iPhone with usb cable and cable net 2 navigate normal.
Are you able to connect with Ethernet or Phone Hotspot in order to install drivers?
If so, try:
sudo apt install -y bcmwl-kernel-source
0 pacotes atualizados
0 pacotes novos instalados
0 a serem removidos
1 não atualizado
I think the issue is ipv4 configuration
Have you disabled ipv6?
nope nope
You might try that.
In the meantime, the package is in the Focal Repo:
Please were I disable ipv6
You can set it with a grub parameter
ipv6.disable=1 module_blacklist=ip6_tables
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
add ipv6.disable=1 module_blacklist=ip6_tables
right after the splash in "quiet splash"
so that it looks exactly like "quiet splash ipv6.disable=1 module_blacklist=ip6_tables"
Tap ctrl+o
, then enter
then ctrl+x
Now you must run
sudo update-grub
I am not convinced that this will solve your issue... this can be undone by reversing the above back to just "quiet splash"
and running sudo update-grub
again.
I do not use linux, this is to much terminal for me
when I look the ip numbers in ipv4 there is nothing
and in cable 2 with iPhone they are present or visible
can I send you 2 pictures?
Yes, you can use the Image Button on the post toolbar to attach images.
Everyone starts somewhere.
While connected on your iPhone, run in terminal:
sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade
reading packets
erased various packets ,
xgd-desktop-portal not erased
Yes, that can be ignored. There is another thread open about that.
