I'm fairly new to Linux, and I just got Zorin OS up and running on my machine.
I am trying to get my Xbox Series controller to work. When plugged in, it vibrates, but does not light up (using the same cord I used with Windows). When I try to use the wireless dongle, it doesn't connect.
I've tried 4 different times to install the xone driver, even after it says it was successful, it isn't shown as loaded after restart, and the xbox controller never works. I've been googling fixes and troubleshooting steps for hours... Nothing is getting this thing working. I tried installing other drivers besides xone but there always seems to be an error in terminal that it can't find something or can't install something! It's getting very frustrating. Why are simple things difficult to get working on Linux!?
