Xdg-desktop-portal kept back

xdg_desktop_portal enables Containerized apps to have some access to the desktop system.
You can solve the issue of it being held back with

sudo apt install xdg-desktop-portal

If you are not using Flatpak or Snap Packages, then you do not need to worry about the desktop portal.

Thanks again Aravisian promise to leave you alone for a bit
I do use flatpak so did as you suggested all fine now. I always like to check if not 100% sure.

On one final note about my issues with download errors, I knew it had to be me who was the culprit in this so racked my brain and remembered I tried out Nala.
Now I've absolutely no idea how Nala affects Apt but it is the only thing I've differently so it must have been a contributing factor. Needless to say I've removed it.

Nala is like Aptitude. I have and use Aptitude but I have never tried Nala.
I have heard good things about it...
