When my laptop is in sleep mode and i lift lid to awake Zorin 17 it freezes and crashes and i have to force reboot. It doesn't happen every time but yea.
The first thing I would try is:
sudo nano /etc/systemd/logind.conf
Arrow key to
#HandleLidSwitch=suspend
Remove the hashtag and set to ignore
HandleLidSwitch=ignore
Tap ctrl+o
to overwrite, then the enter
key to save current configuration. Tap ctrl+x
to exit the editor.

Now, it is just a matter of testing to see if it happens again...

Ive tried it twice and it hasn't crashed. Hoping this stays fixed now, and thanks for fixing the thread title.
