Zorin 18 Beta feedback/discussion thread

Thanks for reporting this issue.

We found that there was a regression recently introduced into the taskbar code. The regression caused this behaviour to happen when intellihide was enabled and the user logged out of the account and logged back in.

We've since resolved it in a new software update which will be published in the main software repositories shortly. However, if you wish to test this fix in the meantime, you can follow these steps:

  1. Download the new Zorin Taskbar package from here: https://launchpad.net/~zorinos/+archive/ubuntu/stable/+build/31324634/+files/gnome-shell-extension-zorin-taskbar_70.1.1_all.deb
  2. After downloading the .deb package, double-click on it to install this latest version.
  3. Finally, you can press the Windows/Logo key to open the Activities overview and search "Log Out" in order to log out of your account and log back in.

This should apply the new fix on your computer.
