Zorin Appearance Designs: one Colum instead two

Zorin's appearance suddenly arranges designs in one column instead of two columns.
Allready done without solution:

  • cleaned the cash: rm -rf ~/.cache/zorin-appearance
  • checked GNOME Extensions Manager , there is no Zorin Appearance extension even listet, should this be here and activated and if so how?
I know, it is just a small issue, but maybe behind a bigger problem with Gnome or anything else? Thanks for your help!

No, Zorin appearance isn't a gnome extension. Have you tried it with a reboot?

Yes, rebootet several times. The Extension Manager has Zorin Desktop and taskmanger extensions activatet, should there also be Zorin Appearance listet? shure Zorin Appearance is not a Gnome extension, but looks like ist uses Gnome extensions for its funktion...

No, it isn't part of the list in extension manager.

Good to know! Thanks fpr your help!

Maybe it could help to reinstall the Zorin appearance layouts:

As I don't have Zorin Pro you could check the appearance packages first with

apt list -i | grep appearance

and then reinstall all those which are mentioned there.

Looks like your hints are going directly to the source of the problem! Can you help me please reinstalling the Appearance Packages?

sudo apt reinstall zorin-appearance zorin-appearance-layouts-support zorin-appearance-layouts-shell-core zorin-appearance-layouts-shell-premium

reinstalled ZorinAppearance with your kindly sended commands. Rebooted afterwards. Problem resists within Zorin Appearance and here is the output of the appearance package list seem to be still the same:
sudo apt list -i | grep appearance

WARNING: apt does not have a stable CLI interface. Use with caution in scripts.

zorin-appearance-layouts-shell-core/noble,noble,now 4.5.4 all [Installiert,automatisch]
zorin-appearance-layouts-shell-premium/noble,noble,now 5.1.2 all [Installiert,automatisch]
zorin-appearance-layouts-support/noble,noble,now 3.5.6 all [Installiert,automatisch]
zorin-appearance/noble,noble,now 5.5.3 all [Installiert,automatisch]

The packages themselves remain unchanged, that is normal.

Have you installed the Citrix Workspace program? I have read that it causes conflicts with Zorin Appearance.

Citrix Workspace: not as I would know. How can I see if there it is installed?

checked that Citrix Workspace is not installed under my ZorinOS 18 Pro...

Welcome to the Forum!

Zorin appearance is not a Gnome Extensions. It is a seperate Program.

Do You use a different System Theme that the Zorin default one's? Can You make a Screenshot of the Design Issue please?

Thank you for your Welcome and help!

Please find here fotos about it, have only used in ZorinOS18 Pro implemented Designs and Themes.

Can You expand the Window?

Both fotos show the maximum of the windows, can't expand it. May be I don't understand you. What information do you need?

No, You have made everything right. I tested it on my System and it works:

Hmm ... when You are on the ''Thema'' Tab, click on the right side on ''Andere''. Scroll down and You see there a toggle to set back the Settings to default. Click on it and then reboot.

Thanks for your advise: have set Themes back to default and rebooted. No difference so far...

Sorry, was doubled

Are you using Fractional scaling or DPI scaling?

echo $GDK_SCALE

echo $GDK_DPI_SCALE
