Zorin Appindicators

I upgrade Proton VPN and since then it don't appear in panel with Zorin Appindicators (v. 60.0.1).
So I tried AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support (v. 61) and Proton VPN appear again.
@AZorin could you please see if you can upgrade you extension.

@AZorin There was an update today, but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem.

There came more Updates for it and it is now on Version 61.1.1

@AZorin the update 61.1.2 still doesn't work (2026-02-04 22:08:02 status installed gnome-shell-extension-zorin-appindicator:all 61.1.2)
Some apps doesn't appear and for some who appear the menu is strange and don't follow system theme (it was the same with 61.1 and 61.1.1)

Did You reboot after installing the Update?

Is in the Extension Settings the Option ''Enable Legacy Try Icons Support'' active? Does Your System run in Wayland or X11?

X11, if you read my first post you will see that AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support (v. 61) not the zorin one work so the problem is not what I set but the extension.

hmm mine pops up but i do have extension manager and tweaks installed and running a theme

zorin 18 or zorin 17 ? what extension version ?

i have zorin 18 install extension manager then scroll down to pic above make sure its on like in pic

nobody listen ! the zorin extension doesn't work for me, the generic one does !!!

so it's great you trying to help me but I know how to set an extension, I know how to disable an extension, I know how to test if it work or not, so please read all my post, and stop to treat me as a noob

hmm ok my bad maybe its differnt on my machine i had to go look to see how mine worked and posted. maybe someone else has a solution...Have an awsome day.... :grin:

the solution is the an update of the extension, they tried 3 versions since I first post and the bug stayed. The generic extension work for me so in short I don't care, but it would be better if the Zorin one could work
