Zorin has stopped booting up

I have a dual boot laptop win 11 and zorin, today zorin has stopped booting to a full screen. It displays the zorin logo on a black screen a big list of code streams down the left hand side of the screen as usual then nothing just a black screen with a tiny cursor in the top left hand corner.
The window boots ok though.
Some help please.

Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled? Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled? Does Windows starts normally?

Try booting with an older kernel. Select the advanced options for Zorin in the Grub menu and choose an older kernel to boot. If this helps, you can set this kernel as the default boot.

You may need to use an earlier kernel than the current kernel used by Zorin. This method allows you to set the kernel that you will boot into by default. To set the new kernel to default: Boot into the kernel you wish to be Saved.
