Suggest you do some websearches, with words like
"touchscreen gestures ubuntu 20.04"
and see what comes up.

As I understand it, gestures requires the installation of additional packages and some configuring.
I am not free enough to research it at the moment, but @zabadabadoo 's advice should give you a lead.
I can understand. Buy I searched lots of websites and community but can't work anything...
