Zorin os 17.1 core freezes in random moments

So I installed zorin os some days ago on an hp 255 g8 laptop with amd ryzen 3 and it has been except in some random moments everything on screen just freezes, if there's music playing it will play the same part in a loop, the mouse doesen't move.

Things I've tried:

Alt+fn+f2 and then r and enter - nothing happens

Install ubuntu drivers - It still happens

I've tried deleting the partition and then installing it again but after some time it still happens, the only way to get out is to force sutdown the laptop, losing anything that it was doing, did it during an update and some icons glitched

Anyone experienced this and knows how to fix it? Thanks

Welcome to the Forum!

Did You tried to switch between Wayland and Xorg? To do that go to the Login Screen and click on Your Profile so that the Password Field appears. It must appeared! When it is appeared You see in the bottom right Corner a Gear Symbol. click on it. You should see 2 Options:

Zorin Desktop (that is the Wayland Option)
Zorin Desktop on Xorg

What Option is active, You cann see at the Dot Marker at the Beginning on the Line. By default the Wayland Option should be active. So, switch to the other Option and test if it works.

It worked, thanks
