Maybe this was done from the Zorin installation?
So what to do with them?
Zorin was not deleted so how do I reinstall it?
Installing the O.S. overwrites the data on disk, so you do not need to delete anything.
Formatting the disk wipes it.
So I don't exactly understand what to do to fix this problem?
When you installed Zorin OS, you inserted the USB stick with the installation medium.
To reinstall, repeat that action. Choose to Install Zorin OS.
When you reach the option for installing, instead of choosing "Install Zorin Alongside...", choose the option labeled as "Something Else..."
When the Gparted partition manager window opens, you can select the partition that currently has Zorin OS on it. Click the (-) icon with that partition selected.
This will set it as "Free space." Click that free space to select it, then click the (+) icon button.
This will open the options for formatting it.
Set the mount point to /
Set the drive to Primary
Set the file system to EXT4
In the meantime, can you please tell me who is suitable for the installation option of installing alongside Windows?
All of the responses above are suitable for installing alongside of Windows.
Everything looks good, so yes, click OK
button to proceed.
I'm not sure I understand,
What do you mean by responses, here?
Why in my case, this option of install zorin OS Lite, alongside windows, did not work properly?
After I finished installing Zorin and restarted the computer, the computer again only asks me which operating system I prefer to work with, Windows 7 or Windows 10, why isn't there also an option to run the Zorin Lite operating system?
It sounds like it's just the Windows boot loader asking you to select which version of Windows you want to run. Do you see something at the bottom of the screen that says "Change defaults or choose other options" ? If you see that, click on it and it should open a new menu. Now you will see an option that says "Use a Device" . Select that, and it should open a new menu with options like "USB Device" and "Ubuntu". Select the "Ubuntu" and it should boot to your Zorin install. On the Zorin install, you will probably see options to boot to Windows too, so you can go back when you need.
In the ''Something else'' Screen, what have You chosen in ''Device for boot loader Installation''? You should choose there the Windows Boot Manager:
After Zorin is running but only through the Bot Manager,
How can I remember what I chose when installing Zorin OS?
And how, after this installation, can I fix the problem in Zorin OS ?
If possible, in this case, I won't try to install the Zorin operating system, again.
That sounds like Windows Boot Manager instead of Grub.
Is Windows 7, 10 installed as EFI or MBR (Legacy)?
Is Zorin OS installed EFI?
Can you show us a screenshot of the partition using your partition manager again?
Also: Respond to what was asked for here:
I do not see a Zorin Partition.
Your previous message listed a size of 203gigs. I see a 190gig free space listed.
In this message, everything looked on track.
What happened after you clicked OK
?
Did you see any warnings or errors?
Please communicate clearly and describe what you saw.
