I was playing and exploring with my ZorinOS 17.3, and Zorin Connected my Samsung A52. And I thought to see what happens when I choose "ring" in the ZoCon menu. Now my phone keeps yelling at me and I cannot end the ringing.
Some advice on how to end the torture please?

It worked to unpair and then pair again, however I have this strange notion that is not how it is supposed to be done?
Just tapping the phone should work. What version of Zorin Connect have you installed in your phone? It works for me fine on 1.33.2
Now updating, was 1.23.2.
I'll check after the update.
Now I can tap ring on the phone to ring on the compie, but ring on the compie does nothing on the phone.

I've been told that the KDE connect APP is better then Zorin's. You can find KDE connect in the software store & Android store.
Check that Zorin Connect has the "Notifications" permission granted.

No, KDE connect is suitable for all desktopenvironments. But you should not have installed Zorin connect and KDE connect at the same time.
No, it's not a problem. Zorin Connect is based on KDE Connect, only re-branded and with a few modifications to make it a little more polished. But there's nothing specific about that requires any particular desktop environment.
You can have both installed at the same time if you want to compare them. Just don't have them running at the same time to avoid any issues.
