Hi! I've been using ZorinOS on my main computer for over 4 years, and I use a MacBook Air as my laptop. It's a bit annoying for me to always have to "re-learn" myself from Mac shortcuts to Linux shortcuts, especially the position of the ⌘ (COMMAND) key, which is far away from the CTRL key. I would like to know if the ZorinOS Pro "mac mode" also imitates Mac shortcuts, or if I can connect a Mac keyboard and use the command button as CTRL.
I also wanted to ask another question. Does the top bar (or toolbar) really display the program's selection menus, or is it more of a "decoration", and this tab never actually displays any toolbar of the program I'm using?
I would be very interested in purchasing the Pro version, if that were the case!
I don't know that about Zorin Pro, but I think probably not, as the layouts are intended for many different computers.
In Zorin core you can define your own key combinations under settings>keyboard>shortcuts or take look at keyboard>layout if there are additional layout options.
With gnome tweaks you can get some more.
In github there are also scripts you can use like these:

Also for Wayland:
Here you can see some tips what you can change in gnome tweaks to adapt it to your mac. The article is about ubuntu 24 but it might be similar to ubuntu 22 on which is Zorin based. But don't use the script and files or check first if they are compatible.
I don't understand exactly what you want to do with the top panel. You could try it first with gnome-tweaks (tab topbar) or you can install the extension manager and enable some gnome extensions to modify your taskbar, with "Dash to dock" or "Dash to panel".
Perhaps this extension is something for you:
