i downloaded zorin like last year in my old pc and was loving it but then it stopped connecting to internet and shii so i stopped using but in my new laptop i straightforward downloaded zorin 18 and the net issue was still there but this time i took steps read forums used ai and fixed my wifi,bluetooth also my kernel had sleep bug tht it went blank once put to suspend. i downloaded oem kernel and after all this i am loving it like its too good and so responsive. i am a big fan now. zorin team keep up the development 
. gonna buy a pro to support yall. am in love with this os.

I too am glad you got it fixed.
After being on Linux full time for a few years, I have found the following to be very true:
YMMV with every distro depending on your hardware configuration.
Some people can get Zorin up and running with absolutely no trouble. Other people have to troubleshoot half a dozen little things like you, and then it works pretty smoothly from that point forward.
One distro works well with one computer while being buggy with another. Again, much of it depends on your particular hardware configuration.
