How to get media length/duration columns in either nautilus or nemo. Also problems with nemo/nautilus lagging/freezing

I have Zorin OS 16.3. Session type x11, Gnome. I have a subscription to google Gemini Advanced A.I., and have also fed it many posts from this zorin forum and github links too, and spent a long time trying to problem solve this but it couldnt solve it.

Unrelated to A.I., Getting media length/duration column for NEMO turned out to be a nightmare and when I did finally get it to work, the old nemo version that it could only work right with was super slow and lagged. So now I've been forced to use Nautilus, which doesnt have the columns enabled.

See 3 posts/links below for pertinent information and history:
Post 1; Post 2; Post 3.

When I install plugin/add on "nautilus-columns" for nautilus (github), The duration/length column does appear but still doesnt work,it doesnt show the duration/length, but instead shows "error" over and over.
See screenshot:

Here's the error from the log app when i try to view duration/length with nautilus:

Nautilus also is now slow/lags and freezes, here are the error logs:

And now Nemo is lagging and freezing too, even without the columns plugin, here is it's error log when it freezes, etc.

I am wondering if the error is down to corrupt headers.

not sure, after a skim of that link you provided, it was only a problem for mp3 file? my problem is across the board with flac and mp4 also. Mp3 it shows error, with flac and mp4 it doesnt show error, but rather a blank space.

Do you get time info using audacious?

Well guess another win for KDE and Dolphin:

do you mean this?

@swarfendor437 , unfortunately, after some research Dolphin doesnt appear to be a solution, it does out of the box have the duration column, but in order to do it, it requires something ridiculous:
" You need to have indexing enabled (“File Search”) and file content indexed.
Rebuild the search index, with file content enabled, let it run and complete for your home folder (might take a while). Once it’s finished, try again with Dolphin. (Might have to log out one time if it doesn’t work immediately after the indexing completes.)"

So basically, I gotta let it index my entire drive? 400 gigabytes?
rather than it do it as it goes?

Yes. As you can see length of track is shown against each file.

I don't know abiut that. Will check on my Plasma installs to see if I can get the information in Dolphin.

OK, apparently balooctl is a method, but after running balooctl index it asks for file to be indexed. Other commands like enable start it but no progress!
Looking at the Music Library via audacious gives me this:

Sorry, I didnt know what you wanted me to show in regards to Audacious, here is what u asked, it does show duration, but my file managers dont.

And as I said, Dolphin doesnt load the duration, its empty.
Dolphin is a really cool file manager, this is my first hands on experience with it, it has some unique advantages and a sleek design. But it also has some disadvantages, such as: pdf files dont show thumbnail image,
also it cant “open file with” option, I cant open a pdf with GIMP for example, which all other file managers i can; and mp4's and mkv's dont show thumbnail images. Also the search function doesnt work at all.
