basically, tlauncher is malware
an alternative for (legally and safely) getting minecraft for free would be using the Bing search engine for some time (be it as your default search engine or as something you open and search random stuff on) while being logged into your microsoft account, converting your microsoft rewards points into microsoft store credits, and buying minecraft from a windows virtual machine with that
the windows version of minecraft bought from the microsoft store includes the linux version that you can download from minecraft.net
another option would be buying the game directly. If the reason you dont is because you dont have a credit/debit card, xbox and microsoft store gift cards should work, i assume. The game sometimes goes on sale, too, so you could wait for that if price is an issue. And if you want the price even cheaper and you are okay with playing on Bedrock edition instead of Java edition, the android version of minecraft works on linux through some unofficial launchers (they require you to own the android version on the play store, which is much cheaper than the pc version)
