Laptop doesn't start after click on suspend

When I click on suspend the laptop goes to sleep mode but when I click any button on keyboard it should start and show lock screen but nothing shows.
This is happening from latest update of kernel version.
And this problem doesn't occur when I am on 6.17.40. my laptop works smoothly.
Please fix this issue as soon as possible.
My laptop name is acer alg al15g-53.

You already found the fix by booting with older kernel (6.17.40)
if you want to stay with this kernel follow this tutorial

Only to have ask:

• Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?
• If Windows is still installed: Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled?
• Does Zorin run in Wayland or X11? You can check that with the Terminal Command echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE

Yes fast startup is disabled and x11 and secure boot is on.

I told you that from the latest update this happens to my laptop. Using earlier like 6.17.40 there is no problem.

I understood that. I only try to see if we can solve it. And Secure Boot can be a Factor - even when it worked in the Past.

Did You tried it with installing the 6.17.0-42 Version, too? And only to be clear: With what Kernel Version You have Issues? The 7.0 Kernel= You can check that with the Command uname -r

Okay, thanks. Then it might be neccessary to stay on the 6.17 Kernel for now. @Nourpon already posted a Link with Instructions to se it as default. Another Option would be to install a newer Kernel.

Note: When you update to a new kernel, you may at the same time be invited to remove the oldest of the kernels you currently have installed. i.e. risk removing the only remaining 6.17 kernel that is proven to work for you.
I suggest you keep hold of that working 6.17 kernel and set that as default (ref @Nourpon's post Laptop doesn't start after click on suspend - #2 by Nourpon) , whilst testing new 7.0 kernels that come along, before parting with the 6.17.

I got a new kernel update and this also doesn't solve the problem.

I had a Kernel issue when my system first updated to 7.0 as well. Not sure if it will be the same, but I was able to resolve the issue with the help given in my earlier post...

Kernel Panic after 7.0.0-28-generic Update

Just applied the update that was available for the kernel update only to have it fail and give a Kernel Panic. I have attempted a couple options to purge the update and have it retry, but have had no luck removing the failed update so that I can accomplish that even attempted an "update-initramfs" to see if that would help, but no luck. Then, You might have to stay on the 6.17 Kernel for now and when the next Update comes, try it again. An Alternative would be to use a newer Kernel and check if it works better. Are You interested in Trying this?
