Unwanted gradients appearing when applying any custom theme

When I install any custom theme, I get many gradients that are not supposed to exist. Here is one of the examples

You will see it in Wifi and Zorin Connect buttons
How can I solve this issue?

You can take a look at this thread for your problem and there is linked another thread that shows a solution. @Ponce-De-Leon has found out a workaround.

It is a problem of gnome shell. Third party themes can cause this problem.

I found a solution to the gradient issue a while ago. You need to enter the custom theme you are using and find a gnome shell css file, then modify it.

I don't think it's gnome's problem per se, but I could be wrong. The reason it happens with Zorin specifically is because Zorin's shell theme specifies the end gradient with this blue color that shows up. Custom themes do not specify it in any way, whether to remove it or to add a different color to the end gradient. Very few themes do, like the Lavanda theme. This is why my fix includes setting the end gradient to "none", you need to explicitly override the value added by Zorin's theme.
Now, how does Zorin's blue end gradient get applied even when using a custom shell theme? I think it's because Zorin's Blue Light theme is made the default in a different way - remember that as soon as we boot our PCs on the login screen, Zorin's Blue Light theme is used and not any of our custom ones we use.

Edit: I think it may be useful to somehow pin this information (on how to fix the gradient issue) somewhere on the forum if possible, because it's bound to be an issue for anyone using custom themes.

@MidnightRose Thank you, I knew I had read about it, but didn't find the thread.

I also think it's because of the special Zorin themes.

We will see how this will be handled in Zorin 18.
