Wayland or x11?

Just realized that within the settings under "Windowing System" X11 shows up:

I thought Zorin 17 comes with Wayland by default?

Well, you have a nvidia card. So X11 is the way to go for now.

When You installed Zorin, did You installed it with Nvidia Drivers? Because then it could have changed to X11 for default automatically.

Did you install Zorin OS 17, or did you use the upgrade from 16? If the later, that might explain why is not the default as that wouldn't change the current session settings. Do you still see the option to use Wayland at the login screen?
