I'm trying to change the layout in ZORIN appearance. Doesn't function. It allows me to click all 10 layouts, but nothing changes. Additionally, if I'm trying to switch on the Jelly mode from Effects, Zorin Appearance crashes.
You can try to reinstall Zorin appearance with this command:
sudo apt reinstall zorin-appearance zorin-appearance-layouts-shell-core zorin-appearance-layouts-support zorin-appearance-layouts-shell-premium

I tried to but it had no impact. Do I need to do something else to activate it? Restart or?
And one more detail. I have iMac 27". When I upgraded from Zorin OS 17 PRO to 18 PRO, Zorin Appearance started functioning as it should, but all of a sudden stopped. I can't put a finger when or what I did.
Do you have installed citrix workspace (icaclient)? It can cause problems with Zorin Appearance.
Usually you should not need to reboot, but often it can help to logout if there are problems with the layouts.
Do you get errors when you launch zorin appearance from terminal with the command
zorin-appearance
?

Sorry, I did now already de-install Citrix but Appearance doesn't still function properly. I already re-installed appearance with your instructions. Still doesn't function.

You can remove it and then reinstall it with the trick shown from Zenzen.

Thank you for your help. I did the following:
Removed the Citrix
- sudo apt purge icaclient -y
- sudo apt autoremove -y
Reinstalled the Zorin Appearance - sudo apt reinstall zorin-appearance zorin-appearance-layouts-shell-core zorin-appearance-layouts-support zorin-appearance-layouts-shell-premium
- Restarted the computer
And now it functions.
