I've had something like yours some time ago because I forcibly turned off windows 10 bluescreen then I wanted to install the zorin os and I experienced a locked hard drive (like read-only mode/fast mode/fast startup). is your windows running normally? try to check the hard drive with CHKDSK and disable fast boot mode.

Zorin OS Core should be sized about 2.9 gigs...
Zorin OS Pro comes with both Core and Lite as well as extra applications; so is larger in size than Either Core or Lite.
