I did not intend to be aggressive.
First of all, I did not intend to be offensive in relation to what I said about free software and the belief, on the part of the community, that it must necessarily be free, for which I apologize.
I have Zorin Os 17 Pro installed and I am very satisfied, however, I do not find a feature that Zorin 16 had and that is the progress icon that appeared in the taskbar when one was downloading or installing a file. Could someone please help me with this please?
ZorinOS Upgrade from 16 to 17 is not scheduled by the Updater Tool as well as the release date of Z17Pro, that's what you mentioned in the Blog post concerning Pro Version.
"...upgrade 16 to 17 will come during following weeks..."
Now a question, will users who do not participate of the newsletter from zorin get their info when upgrading that way is possible by email anyway?
I think / hope so but an answer is better than a suspicion
This question regarding payment for subsequent major version releases of ZorinOS Pro comes up regularly, particularly around the time of such a upgrade. Perhaps replies to that question reflect the need to repeat the same information over again. That's maybe why it has been recognised as a FAQ.
Maybe just refer the user to Zorin OS Pro - Zorin OS webpage and the FAQ section at the bottom which states:
A post was split to a new topic: Panel indicator in Zorin OS 17
the old laptop totally configured - in plasma - loads in a minute, cutting load time in half - pro is very nice!
Isn't that macos taskbar menu near a clock?
No, I took the picture in fedora. dont remember the gnome version tho. We have it in zorin 17 anyways with gnome 43. so my wish came true
