I’m getting the above error message when I use the software updater
I’ve clicked on settings to get to “Software & Updates” then the “Other Software” tab to find the repository list & checked I can see each repository using a browser & they all appear to be there
@eyot Hi and welcome to the forum.
Have you changed your software sources for installs/updates set to ‘Main Server’ instead of your country server?
Which version of 15.3 do you have e.g. Core or Lite?
Hi all, thanks for the assists, hope this is useful
@zabadabadoo - I’m running the Core version
Installs/updates were set to the UK server, I just changed it to the main server & I’m getting the same issue
@carmar@zabadabadoo - I can’t post an image of the current settings as I’m new here & I’ve had to break the links for the same reason
So in Software & updates Zorin Software tab
All but source code checkboxes are ticked
Download is from “Main Server”
Other Software tab, checked options are dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ main download.opensuse.org/repositories/Emulators:/Wine:/Debian/xUbuntu_18.04/ ./ ppa. launchpad. net/zorinos/apps/ubuntu bionic main packages. zorinos. com/stable bionic main packages. zorinos. com/patches bionic main packages. zorinos. com/apps bionic main packages. zorinos. com/drivers bionic main restricted ppa. launchpad. net/zorinos/stable/ubuntu bionic main ppa. launchpad. net/zorinos/patches/ubuntu bionic main ppa. launchpad. net/zorinos/drivers/ubuntu bionic main

I don’t know why you have an opensuse repository in there but as you can see from here: Software Updater settings it is not the right one for Wine.
Remove that and you should be fine.
@carmar, I unchecked the opensuse repository & the updater works, without any errors, thanks
@zabadabadoo, Hi, I used the built in “System Tools” > “Software” application to install wine
I moved to Zorin when my Windows 7 system stopped getting updates & there were a couple of games that I wanted to keep that had no Linux equivalents otherwise I wouldn’t be using it at all
Thanks for the help everyone, I’m happy to close this
